Honoring Excellence in Leadership

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA) recognizes faculty for their exemplary leadership and extraordinary accomplishments with the annual Faculty Excellence in Leadership Awards. These awards honor Health Sciences faculty members who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and impact in the academic, clinical and/or research community through advancing and improving institutional priorities, outstanding mentorship of students, trainees, and early career faculty, and by inspiring others.  The recipients are celebrated at the annual UC San Diego Health Sciences New Faculty Welcome Reception.

The Health Sciences Excellence in Leadership Awards do not consider gender, race, color, national origin or any other protected status as part of the nomination and selection process.
